Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes! We are currently accepting new clients Tuesdays-Saturdays.
How often should my dog be groomed? / When should I start bringing my puppy?
We recommend that dogs getting groomed maintain a 4-8 week schedule. Regular grooming helps keep dogs healthy and mat-free. It also allows us to notice any changes on the coat and skin that you may not be able to see otherwise. Regular grooming allows dogs to feel comfortable with their groomer and the process, helping them feel safe and confident.

We recommend that puppies start as early as possible. It is best to discuss with your vet when it is safest, but most puppies start around 10 weeks. We strongly encourage a puppy's first groom should be no later than 16 weeks to help set them up for success and a life of comfortable, routine grooming.
How long will my dog's grooming take?
Time required to groom is dependent on breed, coat condition, haircut style, and behavior. Each dog is done start to finish. Most dogs, across all breeds, on a regular grooming schedule (4-6 weeks) vary from 1-3 hours for a haircut, and 30 minutes to an hour and a half for baths.
Can I stay while my dog gets groomed?
While we will allow people to stay, we strongly encourage that owners do not. Leaving allows the dog to focus better on the groomer, creating a safer experience and giving us the opportunity to build trust and a strong bond with the dogs we are grooming.
Do you crate dry dogs?
No. Every dog is carefully hand-dried to ensure a calm, comfortable experience and a refined, high-quality finish.
Do you crate the dogs?
We aim for one-on-one grooming and try to limit crating, but sometimes it is necessary for the safety of the dogs in our care if we have large families or drop off and pick up times overlap. If you would prefer your dog is not crated, please mention it to us before booking so we can accommodate accordingly.
Do you offer teeth brushing?
No. After taking an in-depth seminar under Veterinarians, we decided against offering teeth brushing as an add-on service. Infrequent teeth brushing does not properly promote healthy dental habits. Even with slightly more frequent visits, most plaque builds up under the gum line and cannot be safely or properly removed in a grooming salon setting. We do not feel comfortable offering and charging for a service that does not truly benefit the dog. We recommend working with your veterinarian on proper teeth brushing habits and encourage brushing frequently at home.
